Frankfurt Institute for Molecular Life Sciences
A research building for the Cluster of Excellence Macromolecular Complexes is currently under construction. It will house the Frankfurt Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (FMLS). The building has been funded jointly by the State of Hesse and the Federal Government and is located on the Campus Riedberg near the Biocenter and the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics.

The building will provide 3000 m² of net space (70% laboratories, 30% offices). Specialized research facilities in the building will include cryo-electron microscopy, advanced light microscopy and crystallography.
