CEF and BMLS featured on television

German TV channel programme targeted at students features the different campuses of Goethe University and Frankfurt's Clusters of Excellence.

Two student presenters guide the viewer from the University's Westend Campus where the faculties of letters, law and economics are located to Campus Riedberg, home of the natural and life sciences. Amongst the new buildings shown are the Buchmann Institute for Molecular Life Sciences and the Normative Orders Building.

The programme includes interviews with the University's Präsident Werner Müller-Esterl and CEF Speaker Volker Dötsch as well as interviews with the Speaker of the Cluster of Excellence Normative Orders, Klaus Günther, and physicist Reinhard Dörner. 

Goethe University was named after Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the Frankfurt-born polymath renowned for his exceptional contributions to literature, science and philosophy. Founded in 1914 with private funding and inspired by the legacy of the European Enlightenment, Goethe University stands out as a pioneering “citizens’ university”. Goethe University is one of the largest German Universities with over 40.000 students and sixteen faculties covering a very wide spectrum of subjects.
