New paper in PNAS by Robert Tampé
γδ T cells are involved in the bodies defense against microorganisms and tumors but their mode of function is still largely unclear. Scientists from Bern, Frankfurt, Lausanne and Alabama report unexpected properties of human γδ T-APCs in the induction of CD8+ αβ T effector cells. Their findings are now available in a new publication in the US Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences: Link to full paper
