67th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

July 2017. Once every year, Nobel Laureates convene at Lindau to meet the next generation of leading scientists: undergraduates, PhD students, and post-doc researchers from all over the world. The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings foster the exchange between scientists of different generations, cultures, and disciplines. This year’s Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting was dedicated to chemistry.

At the meeting, which ran from 25–30 June 2017, over 400 international young scientists met with 28 Nobel Laureates, among them Hartmut Michel from the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics. His presentation on oxygen reduction and energy conservation by membrane integrated terminal oxidases is now available online:
