Ernst Stelzer wins HMLS Prize

Ernst Stelzer is awarded this prize for his achievements in visualising the behavior of cells during vertebrate embryogenesis. The prize is assigned jointly to Ernst Stelzer and Jochen Wittbrodt and aims to recognize particularly their successful interdisciplinary cooperation.

The annual Heidelberg Molecular Life Sciences (HMLS) Prize was first assigned in 2008 and honors outstanding scientists who actively engaged in life science research in Heidelberg. The price is associated with 200.000, Euro of prize money. The award ceremony will take place on 26 October 2009 at the Universty of Heidelberg.
