German Society for Cell Biology honours Ernst Stelzer

March 2014. Ernst Stelzer from the Buchmann Institute for Molecular Life Sciences at the Goethe University Frankfurt received the "Carl Zeiss Lecture 2014" at the International Meeting of the German Society for Cell Biology in Regensburg on 18 March 2014. The Society awards this prize for internationally outstanding achievements in the field of light and electron microscopy. Ernst Stelzer's  development and patents for light sheet microscopy have led to a new fluorescence microscopy system being now available to scientists worldwide.
