CEF Adjunct Investigator Status

The Cluster of Excellence Frankfurt “Macromolecular Complexes” (CEF) invites applications from researchers in Frankfurt for CEF Adjunct Investigatorships.
The Cluster has set up and run a successful Adjunct Investigator Programme since 2006 supporting so far eighteen scientists at the University of Frankfurt and the Max Planck Institutes. 

Adjunct Investigators will receive substantial research funding, with the possibility of extension. They will be members of CEF. Eligible are outstanding scientists without a permanent position pursuing independent research in an area relevant to the Cluster at the participating university faculties and research institutes in Frankfurt. Tenured W2 and W3 professors are not eligible. Applications from junior researchers and from female scientists are especially encouraged.

Applications will be evaluated by external reviewers and an independent external selection committee. The selection will be based strictly on scientific excellence.
Applications should include a one-page CV, complete list of publications, pdf files of the three most important papers, a two-page summary of research achievements and a three-page statement of scientific objectives and interests for the next two to three years. Applications should be directed by e-mail to CEF at office@cef-mc.de.

The deadline for complete applications is 28 February 2014.
